Rihanna's Pregnant & I'm Weirdly Overjoyed About It

Let’s be real, we all know plenty of people we probably wouldn’t encourage to reproduce, but RiRi is definitely not one of them! When I heard the news of her pregnancy this morning, I let out an actual squeal which got me thinking - how am I rooting so hard for someone I don’t even know? Well, here’s why:
Her music is iconic.
I know that the fact that she’s having a baby means we’ll have to wait even longer for her next album, BUT I can accept that and that’s love. I could go on and on about all of the records she has broken, but I won’t insult your intelligence that way. Every album she releases blesses us with so many hits, so I have no doubt that her next one will be worth the wait.
Our girl is a philanthropist.
Rihanna has created several foundations for more causes than I can even count. She’s never afraid to advocate for someone in need or speak up for what’s right. We love a woman who stands up for what she believes in and lends a helping hand where she can!
She’s a hell of a business woman.
As much as I love this about her, she’s going to make me go broke. I can’t resist any of her Savage X Fenty line, don’t even get me started on Fenty Beauty. As of 2021, she is the wealthiest female musician, with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion (and it’s obvious that most of that isn’t coming from her music.)
RiRi is the clap back QUEEN.
She is never afraid to throw a little shade and I live for it. I wish I was that brave. Here’s one of my personal favorite Rihanna reactions:

Rihanna has been straight up about wanting to be a mother in multiple interviews, so this has clearly been her dream for awhile! In fact, in June 2019, she told Interview magazine that she wants babies "more than anything in life." Your day has come, mama!
In conclusion, Rihanna is perfect and I couldn’t be happier for her and ASAP Rocky.

Not to toot my own horn (who am I kidding, the only point in adding this part is to toot my own horn,) but I had a feeling there might be a bun in her oven after seeing the two of them at the last Met Gala. Remember their outfits?
